On November 8th, 2025 Sharewaves, theBMSproject will be conducting a co-sponsored 5K Walk & Run Fundraising Event to be produced by Bodies Race Company Kansas City.  Funds raised will be donated to the 501(c)3 nonprofits Sharewaves and theBMSproject to contribute to the good health, safety and well-being of young athletes and their families.  Physically active, positive lifestyles and youth sports participation are advocated for youngsters of all ages.  The event will be themed fun, family, fitness and safety with cartoon mascots, Okie Dokie (Missouri Mule) and Lady Bug making guest appearances.
